The wedding is Tuesday, Sept 2nd. This does not mean that you get to just chill the other days! We have a few things planned.
Sat night – Wine and local goods tasting in a local winery. We can also stop by Lanciano, which is another small town next to San Vito for an aperitivo (drinks, snacks, gelato).
Sun night – BBQ hosted by Max’s parents featuring Max’s dad’s world famous “porchetta” and spicy sausages. We’ll have a plan for the vegetarians too of course! The BBQ will start at 7:30pm and the shuttle will pick everyone up at 6:30pm at Hotel Garden. The attire is not casual, but not cocktail – somewhere in between.
Mon – We have an eco-gastronomic excursion planned in Abruzzo’s hillside. We have organized the bus and the tour guides. This event is sponsored by us so you won’t need $.
Tu – This is the big day! You can hit the beach during the morning. The shuttle will pick everyone up at Hotel Garden at 4:00pm. The bus will make one small stop so you can take pictures at one of the viewpoints in town. The ceremony will start at 5pm sharp.
Th – We are planning an all day excursion to the island of Isole Tremiti. It’s about 1 hour drive and then we have to take the ferry which takes another hour. The ferry leaves at 8am so it’s going to be an early morning trip! For some cool pix checkout flickr. For this trip, we’ll arrange the bus. The ferry ride will cost you around 25 Euros per person. The boat tour (includes food) that we’ll take once we’re on the island will cost around 50 Euros per person.
