We have reserved a block of rooms in two different hotels at the marina.  We will need to know asap if you’ll be attending because we have to make an official commitment to these hotels.

Preferred Option 1: Hotel Garden

This is our favorite hotel mostly because of the amenities: all rooms are oceanview, there is private beach area that includes an umbrella & beach chairs, nice pool, shuttle service, great food, and it’s only half mile from the Marina.

During the summer the hotel operates as a resort, which means you have to book a certain amount of nights.  We have made a deal with the tour operator that manages the hotel’s room during that timeframe.

• 312 euros per person for seven day stay assuming double occupancy per room.  It’s slightly more for single occupancy.  Furthermore, you don’t have to stay here 7 nights but you are paying for it.
• Includes breakfast and one meal of choice (+wine and drinks throughout the day)
• Bike rental
• You can upgrade to full pension for about 40euros for the entire stay (which means all meals are included)
• Stay is from 8/30-9/6 (This schedule cannot be modified meaning you you have to check in on Saturday but you can check out if you want to earlier)
• Please let us know by March 15 whether you want to stay in this Hotel.

Additional considerations about Hotel Garden:

• We did some math and if you stay for at least four nights this option is better than the hotel we list below “I Trabbochi”.
• The tour operator that has the rights on the Hotel Garden rooms releases the available rooms to the hotel about two weeks before.  So, by mid August there maybe available rooms that can be booked for as many days or as few nights as you’re willing to stay.  According to the rate sheet the price should be about 55euros/person/night.

Option 2:Hotel “I Trabocchi”

This is a brand new hotel that opened just a few weeks ago.  It’s located in Fossacesia, the town just south of San Vito, which is about a 10 minute drive from San Vito.  The beach is across the street but it does not provide beach services or private shuttle.  It does have a very nice pool and a great view from the oceanview rooms.

Rates:

• Oceanview: 60 euros/night/person (assuming double occupancy)
• Mountain view: 50 euros/night/person (assuming double occupancy)
• Includes breakfast
• There is no restriction on the stay.  We a room block for the rooms from 8/30-9/4

The important consideration about this hotel is that there is no shuttle.  However, it is a very short walk to the marina in Fossacesia that has a few restaurants and bars.
